Dr. William Tom is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon dedicated to helping those affected with congenital and facial deformities. Dr. Tom is in private practice in Healdsburg. Currently, he is involved in the study of new tissue engineering agents which may replace congenital surgical techniques presented worldwide.

He is a University of California, Berkeley and University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry graduate. The doctor completed a general practice residency at Valley Medical Center, obtained an internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital (University of Miami), and received formal oral and maxillofacial surgery training at Detroit Receiving Hospital (Wayne State School of Medicine). Additionally, during his residency Dr. Tom earned a master’s degree in biology at the University of Detroit Mercy.
