Dr. Slim Bouchoucha is a full-scope trained and experienced oral and maxillofacial surgeon dedicated to providing care to children and patients affected with facial deformities and congenital facial anomalies. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, has served as the North African coordinator to the International Cleft Lip and Palate Foundation, received the ICPF Outstanding Award for the volunteer cleft lip and palate program (Help a Child Smile Again) he helped initiate in Tunisia, and maintains a private practice in Sonora.

The doctor completed his residency and fellowship at the Harbor-University of California Los Angeles Medical Center and trained at the University of Clermont Ferrand, where he received dental and master’s degrees. A certificate in surgical odontology and diploma in oral surgery were earned from the University of Paris VII, as well as a certificate in maxillofacial prosthodontics from the Institute of Stomotology in Paris. Dr. Bouchoucha taught at the University of Clermont Ferrand before moving to the United States, and was faculty and assistant program director at Harbor-UCLA. He has presented at numerous American and international medical and dental meetings.
